Auchnahaird beach is a curved expanse at the edge of the Inverpolly estate in Sutherland . This is the start of the “wee mad  road “ which follows the beautiful coastline to Loch Inver via inverkirkaig.  We stayed in Inverkirkaig for a week overlooking the bay. We always said we would go back , need another life time one is just not enough !
